Frequently asked questions about A2.2

What level do I need to start A2.2?+

To have finished A2.1, especially the preterite and the imperfect, or to have an equivalent level. The course opens when you finish A2.1, or straight away if the placement test puts you here.

Is the present perfect taught the way it's used in Spain?+

Yes. In Spain the present perfect is used for anything that happened in a period that's still open, like today or this week: «esta mañana he desayunado tarde». In much of Latin America you'd hear the preterite instead. The course follows Spanish usage, which is what you'll hear here.

How long does it take to finish?+

Twenty lessons, about 24 hours of work in total. At five lessons a week you finish in a month, but you set the pace: you have one year of access.

What will I be able to do by the end?+

Talk about your experiences and what has happened today or this week, choose between the present perfect and the preterite, talk about the future and make predictions, tell a plan from a prediction, and give instructions with the imperative, affirmative and negative.

Can I see anything before paying?+

The free sample lessons are in A1.1. From this course you can read, for free, the guide to the present perfect versus the preterite, which summarises lesson five.
