Frequently asked questions about A1.2

What do I need to know to start A1.2?+

What A1.1 covers: introducing yourself, describing a person, using ser, estar and hay, and the present tense of regular verbs. The course opens when you finish A1.1, or straight away if the placement test puts you here.

Is it useful for everyday life in Spain?+

That's exactly what it's for: times and routines, ordering and paying in a bar, reading a tapas menu, shops and getting around town. The situations and vocabulary are those of Spain.

How long does it take to finish?+

Twenty lessons, about 22 hours of work in total. At five lessons a week you finish in a month, but you set the pace: you have one year of access.

What will I be able to do by the end?+

Tell the time and describe your routine, use the most common irregular verbs in the present, order and pay in a bar, talk about what you like, what you have to do and your plans, and say how often you do things.

Can I see anything before paying?+

The free sample lessons are in A1.1. From this course you can read, for free, the guide to the verb gustar, which summarises lesson eleven.
